Numerical Art 2026: Critical Fantasy Exhibition in Szczecin

An interior of a virtual space with a digital sculpture.

Numerical Art 2026: Critical Fantasy was presented for the first time during the CAPHE Mobility 2026 at the National Museum in Szczecin as a fully virtual exhibition environment dedicated to sculpture, virtuality, and computational transformation.

The presented works originate from physical objects — sculptures, textiles, assemblages, and installations — that undergo processes of digitisation, 3D transformation, and virtual recomposition, acquiring new forms of existence beyond gravity, fixed scale, and material stability.

Critical Fantasy approaches imagination not as escapism, but as a critical method for rethinking the relations between matter, technology, and perception in the era of immersive and computational environments.

The exhibition is available online via GALERIA KONKRET AR.T
