The Wrocław section of the final CAPHE Mobility 2026, organised by the Polish Society of Aesthetics within the SONIC PANEL: Beyond Visuality. Countervisuality, Selectivity of Senses and Multisensory Experience in Hybrid Art Environments, became a space for exploring multisensory perception, sound, media archaeology, and hybrid artistic experience.

Across lectures, soundwalks, discussions, and immersive encounters, participants reflected on how contemporary art and technology reshape embodiment, attention, and the experience of space. The programme included Prof. Makis Solomos’ lecture Art, Music, and Degrowth. Some Ideas and Questions, media archaeology sessions led by Dr. Małgorzata Dancewicz-Pawlik, explorations of accessibility through tactile graphics for visually impaired audiences, and a soundwalk along the Oder with Dr. Kamila Staśko-Mazur.

Bringing together researchers, artists, and practitioners from Poland, Portugal, Kenya, and Italy, the Wrocław mobility created an interdisciplinary environment for reflecting on perception beyond visuality and on the role of sound, embodiment, and sensory selectivity in contemporary hybrid environments.
