Communities In-Formation | A Hybrid LARP

Communities In-Formation hybrid LARP poster in Kraków

In July 2026, Communities In-Formation brought a hybrid LARP experience to the Faculty of Management and Social Communication at Jagiellonian University in Kraków.

Designed and implemented by the Narratologies team, the experience combined live-action role-playing, storytelling, digital interaction and location-based exploration.

Inspired by the legend of Smok Wawelski, the Wawel Dragon, participants explored how communities form, evolve and understand themselves.

Exploring Through Play

The experience used immersive role-play and collaborative storytelling to explore themes of identity, participation, perception and collaboration.

Physical and digital interactions were brought together, connecting Kraków’s cultural heritage with contemporary forms of play and storytelling.
