In October 2025, CAPHE brought together art, augmented reality, storytelling and nature through Embracing Gaia | The XR Sculpture Treasure Hunt at the National Garden of Athens.
Participants explored hidden paths across the Garden, discovering Kenyan sculptures by BRAMSA artists and interacting with AR elements presented through smart podiums.

Art, Nature & Augmented Reality
The experience combined physical exploration with digital storytelling, allowing participants to discover the Garden and its artworks in a new way.
Immersive sound and flavours added further sensory elements to the experience, creating a multisensory journey through the Garden.

A Collaborative Experience
The event was developed by Narratologies, Jagiellonian University, and TMMSAC, with the support of Green Athens.
Through this collaboration, Embracing Gaia connected contemporary art, technology and the natural environment in a shared public space.

Exploring the Garden Differently
By combining a treasure hunt, Kenyan sculpture, augmented reality, sound and storytelling, the experience invited participants to discover the National Garden from a new perspective.
The activity formed part of CAPHE’s exploration of hybrid experiences that connect physical spaces with digital technologies, artistic practices and participation.
